Urine colour hydration checker
Choose the closest numbered and named shade. Colour is one everyday clue, not a diagnosis, and the display on your screen will not perfectly match real-world colour.

Important exceptions
Foods, supplements and medicines can alter urine colour. Dark urine can also occur for reasons unrelated to hydration. Seek medical advice for blood in urine, a persistent unexplained colour change, pain when urinating, fever, severe symptoms, or if you are worried.
People with kidney, heart or liver conditions, pregnancy, medicines affecting fluid balance, or a prescribed fluid limit should follow personal clinical advice. Read the NHS dehydration guidance or review dehydration signs and when to seek help.
